New Acts Announced For Singapore Grand Prix 2025: Foo Fighters, Alan Walker, CL And More

Rev up your party engines people, Singapore GP has just announced the entertainment line-up that will add to the festive vibes at the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2025 this 03 to 5 October.

For the uninitiated, the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix is a global motorsport extravaganza with a unique combination of spectacular night racing and live entertainment at the picturesque Marina Bay Street Circuit. You’ll get the chance to see the world’s finest drivers go wheel-to-wheel under lights at speeds of up to 320km/h in the heart of Singapore’s city centre, against a backdrop of iconic heritage buildings, modern architecture and a stunning skyline.

This year, the thrilling track action will be complemented by icons like Elton John, Foo Fighter, Alan Walker, and South Korea’s global superstar G-DRAGON and CL, with plenty more acts still to be announced.

Friday night at the Singapore GP just got a double dose of K-pop royalty, with CL taking the stage alongside G-DRAGON for what promises to be an unforgettable showdown. Best known as the fearless leader of trailblazing girl group 2NE1, CL carved out a solo path with fierce hits like “The Baddest Female,” “Hello Bitches,” and “Lover Like Me.” More than just a performer, she’s a fashion icon and a Forbes 30 Under 30 alum who continues to push boundaries across music and style. After a seven-year hiatus, South Korea’s global superstar G-DRAGON will be making his much-awaited comeback to Singapore. He will kick off the race weekend on Friday, 3rd October, at the Padang Stage in Zone 4.

The fashion icon and trailblazer has been a dominant force in the music scene since his debut with BIGBANG in 2006 and was the first Korean soloist with a Korean-language album to enter the U.S. Billboard 200 with his first EP ‘One of a Kind.’ G-DRAGON will release his highly anticipated third studio album, ‘Übermensch’, on February 25, 2025 – his first full-length solo project in over 11 years.

Saturday 4th October | FOO FIGHTER

Legendary rockers Foo Fighters are ready to bring the noise on Saturday night, taking over the Padang Stage right after the adrenaline-pumping Qualifying sessions. With more than 15 Grammy wins under their belt, including five for Best Rock Album, and a 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, this is a band that needs no introduction. Expect a high-voltage set packed with crowd favourites as the Foo Fighters serve up the kind of no-holds-barred rock anthems that’ll have you screaming along from the barricades. Get ready for one of the biggest nights of the Singapore GP weekend, because when Dave Grohl and the crew hit the stage, you know it’s going to be electric.

Global EDM powerhouse Alan Walker is bringing his signature hoodie and hard-hitting beats to Singapore, fresh off his Walkerworld Tour across North America and Europe. The Norwegian DJ and producer first rocketed to stardom with 2015’s “Faded”, a hauntingly catchy track that went multi-platinum and clocked billions of streams. Since then, he’s kept the momentum going with collabs alongside Ava Max, Sia, and even Coldplay, lighting up mega-festivals like Tomorrowland and Coachella along the way. Two years after the finale of his record breaking ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour, Elton John is set to make a highly anticipated return to the stage for a night to remember. The pop icon will rock the Padang Stage in Zone 4 after the Formula 1 race on Sunday to close out the race weekend.

One of the best-selling artists of all time, the style icon and EGOT (Emmy, GRAMMY, Oscar, and Tony Award winner) has redefined pop music with an unparalleled career spanning five decades, selling more than 300 million records worldwide. The British legend has produced beloved hits like “Tiny Dancer”, "Your Song", and “Rocket Man” and collaborated with stars including Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Eminem, and Lady Gaga.

Sunday 5th October | THE SMASHING PUMPKINS

It’s been fifteen long years, but The Smashing Pumpkins are finally making their return to Singapore, and they’re bringing decades of alt-rock greatness with them. The legendary American band rose to fame in the ’90s with genre-defining albums Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, delivering cult classics like “1979,” “Tonight, Tonight,” and “Bullet with Butterfly Wings.” Now back with their 13th studio album Aghori Mhori Mei (2024), the Pumpkins are ready to unleash a set that blends grungy guitar riffs, dreamy layers and frontman Billy Corgan’s unmistakable vocals.
